meet helgeth, my new female praying mantis [i think]. She's a whoper! 4 inches from head to wingtip! The longest praying mantis that i've ever seen or had. I plan to get some pictures of her eating, which is very interesting. well gtg.

Wow....she is a whopper !! Audrey has a really big praying mantis that she is probably going to let go soon because she doesn't have insects to feed it. Where'd you find Helgeth? How did you come up wither her name?
I found her on a fence poast in our corral, I had seen her before, but I was doing something and couldn't get to her right away and when I came back, she was gone. The name? well since she's so big and praing mantises are so fierce [in the bug world] I decided on that name. -E
Do you know if she will eat grasshoppers? That would be nice if she would.
What have you been doing since the state fair? I think I recovered from that ride :D I don't think I'll do it next year....

I tried to feed gasshoppers to her, but I think it was to big. we havent been doing much, just school and stuff. -E
